I realize it’s been a long time since the last time I posted. My schedule has been pretty crazy with projects but I am happy to report that there are some great things in the works.
Somehow, among the million-and-one things I already have going on, I confirmed my invitation to be a presenter at PechaKucha Night Sacramento. For those of you new to PechaKucha, here’s a little background behind it.
PechaKucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of conversation (“chit chat”), it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It’s a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
I will be presenting at PechaKucha Night in Sacramento on December 10th at 6:30pm. It will be hosted at the Fuller Building next door to Fox & Goose. It’s free to attend and a great place to meet some of Sacramento’s innovative creatives. Hope to see you there.
